Dallas Apartment Manager Improves Ratings By Posting Bogus Review

The property manager at Landmark at Rosewood in North Dallas has plenty of problems to deal with and upset residents have let their issues be known by posting reviews online. The result has been the score in a 5-star rating system has dropped, making it more difficult to attract new residents.

Manager Jennifer Dales, took matters into her own hands and came up with a way to improve the property rating. Common sense would suggest that a good solution would be to listen to the upset residents and address their complaints but, that would take time and effort. Real work.

Dales simply went to one site where bad reviews are posted and wrote a glowing, 5-star review and posted it herself but, not as Jennifer Dales. The author of the review is Jo Chenoweth.

Dales' full name is Jennifer Jo Dales but, research has uncovered that her former name was Jennifer Jo Chenoweth. Below is a copy of the review that she posted...

I have lived here for a while, the office is always friendly & helpful. The Maintenance is always quick to respond and always have smiles on their face. The manager was very nice, she came out to meet me when I came to pay my rent. I like to calendar they send out every month with activities for the residents.

The following is a response from Jennifer on Apartment ratings.com where the reviewer really went off about the problems they were having. Ironic because, they are all among the SAME problems I have had in my 2 months thus far.

I am very sorry you had a bad experience in the past. I am starting to realize that when all a person does is lie... They actually believe their own lies and see them as being the truth. Using that logic, Jennifer Dales the manager probably doesn't see anything wrong or misleading when she posts a false review as Jo Chenoweth. Lastly... I uncovered an arrest report from 2000 when she was still Jennifer Chenoweth that resulted in a "no bill" which means there was an arrest but, a grand jury determined there was not enough evidence to have formal charges filed and face prosecution. What was she arrested for? Stay tuned, folks! The awful drama that surrounds this apartment community is just now being told. I am going to be contacting Brett Shipp from WFAA-TV because, that is exactly what is needed to get things to change here.... Expose those who cheat and lie and Jennifer Dales is clearly one of those!
